Happy Ever After!

Last night after a beautiful summer rain storm. We saw the most beautiful rainbows. As we were talking to our neighbors, whom we adore, one of them said that when her 5 year old son Spencer saw the rainbow, he got on his shoes and said "Lets go find the Gold at the end of the rainbow, Mom." Then this morning I received this picture from another neighbor whom I adore, and when my Anna saw it. She remembered what Spencer had said. I thought it was a beautiful comparison. We are so blessed as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day-saints to have at our grasp, the most valuable treasure here on this earth. Then I was listening to this song of "Ever ever after." off the movie Enchanted and thought, unlike the pot of gold that everyone seems to be searching for and never seams to find, and that "happily ever after" only comes true in fairy tales. We as members of the church know where true joy lies and that happily ever after does exist when we are living our lives the way we know we should. I personally am so grateful for the Temple and bear testimony of the joy, blessings, and peace that it brings when I attend often. I know that through keeping the covenants we make in the temple we are able to live happily ever after. Childish and simplistic as this comparison may seem, it brings me much joy knowing that my Father in Heaven loves me enough to bless my life with such a treasure. May I ever stand worthy of it. Living Happily ever after!

You are so right--we CAN live happily ever after just by doing what we should do here. It isn't that hard. We just need to be dedicated, ever-working, and endure to the end.
