a patriotic post that's extremly late!!!!!

This is our 4th of July post. it 's kinda late.... our fourth of July was fun and eventful. i have to explain the picture with all the people crawling on the ground. Elise lost her ring so we all tried to find it. John eventually found it he gave it back to her it was cute!!
Brittani Terry asked us to be on her float to advertise her new dance group (which by the way Abby and i are taking and is a BALL!!!) we danced in the parade and on the platform at the park. it was loads of fun and kept us busy during the summer.
At Milt and Becky's we had THE biggest water fight I've ever been in the middle of. the sprinklers turned on while some kids were jumping on the tramp and after that Preston and Andrew kinda chased us around a bit with cup fulls of water. then we found the hoses and buckets and found they took water a lot further than a broken plastic drinking cup would. Then Jaiden, Neil, Andrew, Peter, and Preston gathered their courage and got the dads ,who were on the opposite side of the moms, soaked to the bone with hoses and buckets. The dads started out with the back yard which just happened to have a bowl of marinate on the table that was on the deck. Brother Pace decided it would be funny to get who ever came to get them, with marinate. Peter came running around and got marinated. Way to take one for the team Pete!!!!
It eventually got to the girls and dads against the boys. the dads took over the front yard where they got two hoses and a lot of water balloons. The boys got banged up against trees and sprayed in the ear for a straight minute without letup being pinned by one dad and sprayed by another. then the little boys started to rebel and join the dads. then they surrendered. We had a BLAST!!!!
